Demos and simulations

Be patient. This simulation might take 1 - 2 minutes to load. iPads might not work.

  1. Choose one target (.e.g zinc)
  2. Measure the stopping potential for different wavelengths (record your results)
  3. On your computer - plot your results on a graph that allows you to determine
    1. The work function of the target
    2. The cut - off frequency
    3. Planck's constant.

HINT: If the stopping potential is 2V it means that the maximum kinetic energy of the electrons was 2ev!
