Big History Project

Big History Project

Big History examines our past, explains our present, and imagines our future.

"By sharing the big picture and challenging middle and high school students to look at the world from many different perspectives, we hope to inspire a greater love of learning and help them better understand how we got here, where we’re going, and how they fit in." Big History Project (a 9 unit project) can be used to support curriculum with activities, videos, analysis, and assessments. Also includes this shorter, self-directed version with 5 Chapters:

  • Chapter 1 The Universe
  • Chapter 2: Our Solar System and Earth
  • Chapter 3: Life
  • Chapter 4: Humans
  • Chapter 5: Modern Revolution & The Future
